In June 2014, Dr. Sylvia Marcos a Ross alumna and founding member of Salybia Mission Project returned to Dominica.
During her week-long visit, she spent time reconnecting with the organization, the Kalinago people and the Ross student community who have continued to grow SMP’s vision. Prior to her trip, she reached out to family, friends and other original SMP members for donations. |

Over 40 donors contributed $15,024.09 EC (nearly $6,000.00 USD) earmarked to cover the clinic’s medication for an entire year. Additionally, a large amount of non-prescription medications, and surgical supplies (forceps, sutures, scalpels and alike) was also contributed.
